2026 Unity Celebration
The Twinsburg Historical Society would like to thank the First Congregational Church Twinsb urg for hosting the 2026 “Unity” Celebration. We would also like to thank Ms. Dania King (Keynote Speaker), Ms. Lilly (Honorary Ceremony Psalmist, Donna Sha’ White (Singer, “Lift Every Voice and Sing” accompanied by Ted Darden on Saxophone) Ted Darden (Saxophonist, “Performed “Amazing Grace”), and Ms. Stella White Darden (no photo, Honoree)
This program was organized and put together by Dr. Constance Peek-Longmire, THS Trustee.
Food an refreshments were served after the program was finished in Fellowship Hall downstairs.
2026 “The Garfield Trail” Program
We had a packed, almost overflow, house at “The Garfield Trail” program!!! The program by Tim Garfield, the Great-Great-Grandson of President James A. Garfield and Debbie Weinkamer, a volunteer at the James A. Garfield National Historic Site. All in attendance were grateful to Rich Bissell, who cleared the parking lots, and Andy Krupa, who got rid of the snow and ice on the walkways and steps!

Mike and Gail Zronek put this on for us. Mike was on the USCG ship that was first on the scene of this tragedy.
We would like to thank Mike and Gail for putting his presentation on for us. We would also like to thank Elisa Unangst who performed “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” by Gordon Lightfoot. She did a fantastic job and it was a great way to kick off this program!! This program was recorded. Here is the link to the video.
