Programs

Twinsburg Historical Society is always looking for ideas for Open House programs or Special Programs. If you have a program that we might be interested in please contact us and give us the details and we will be glad to consider it.

These 2 programs were just finalized after the February Newsletter went out.

We are welcoming retired Aurora teacher and association executive Bill Lavezzi on Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00 at the Museum. Bill will talk about how organizations help maintain democracy and promote strong communities. In keeping with National Women’s week, he will give an overview of the League of Women Voters. He will review the important role that organizations have historically played in American civil life, using examples from his own community.

Another special edition of the Writer’s Series will feature native Twinsburg writer Frank Latimore. He will join folks at the Riley House after his book signing at the library on Saturday, March 25 from 5:00 to 6:30.  All are welcome and he will have copies of his books for purchase.

Another “Tech” Sunday!!

At the April Open House (4/30/2023)

The Twinsburg Historical Society, during their monthly Open House, will be hosting a free service where you can learn or re-learn all about those pesky ie., annoying, nettlesome, troublesome, vexing, disturbing, irksome, mean, peeving, provoking, ugly, vexatious, wicked devices that are using up our batteries, home electricity and brain cells.

So bring in your problem devices between 2 and 5pm and let the Twinsburg Honor Society wiz kids help you sort it all out. Did I mention FREE.

The Historical Society is located at 8996 Darrow Road right next to the big red barn near the corner of Darrow Road (Rte. 91) & Aurora Road ( Rte. 82)

You can also follow your nose because we are also located next door to Mr. Chicken.

See you there….
